Who Runs This Site

New Hardware (https://new-hardware.com) is operated from the United States by the New Hardware Editorial Team. The site publishes information, buying guides, and product listings about saws, saw blades, and shop and metalworking tools. It does not sell anything, has no user accounts, no paid memberships, and no newsletter. Comments are turned off on all posts and pages.

For privacy and data questions, write to privacy@new-hardware.com.

What Information We Collect and Why

The site collects very little. The web host keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.

If you send a message through the contact form, it is delivered by email to our editorial inbox. We use it to read and answer your message, and the site does not use the form data for anything else. We keep server logs and messages only as long as needed for those purposes.

We use Google Search Console to see how the site appears in Google Search. It does not place cookies on your browser. The site itself does not set analytics cookies at the moment, and it does not show display ads at the moment.

Cookies

New Hardware does not set analytics cookies. Affiliate links are the one exception to keep in mind, because the store or network you reach may set its own cookie. Our Cookie Policy explains this and how to manage cookies in your browser.

Affiliate Links and Third-Party Sites

We earn commissions through affiliate links to Amazon. When you click one, Amazon or its network may set a cookie to credit the referral. Amazon has its own privacy policy, and it governs what that company collects. Our Affiliate Disclosure describes how these links work.

The site also links to other websites. We do not control those sites, and this policy does not cover them. Please read the privacy policy of any site you visit.

Children’s Privacy

New Hardware is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, write to privacy@new-hardware.com and we will delete it.

Your Choices and Rights

You can block or delete cookies in your browser, and you can choose not to use the contact form. Depending on where you live in the United States, state privacy laws may give you rights to request access to the personal information we hold about you or ask us to delete it. To make a request, email privacy@new-hardware.com. We may need to confirm that the request comes from you.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute protection.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. For related information, see our Terms of Service and Contact Us page.
