Accessibility Statement

Our Goal

New Hardware wants its pages to be usable by as many people as possible. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. The site has not been formally audited, and we do not claim that it conforms to those guidelines.

What We Try to Do

The New Hardware Editorial Team tries to keep pages easy to read and navigate. In practice, that means:

  • Writing in plain language with clear headings.
  • Adding alt text to images.
  • Keeping pages usable with a keyboard.
  • Using link text that says where the link goes.
  • Choosing text and background colors with good contrast.

Known Limits

Some parts of the experience are outside our control. When you follow a link to a store such as Amazon, you leave our site, and the accessibility of those pages depends on the store. The same applies to any embedded content that comes from another provider. We may also miss barriers on our own pages, since we have not had a formal review.

Report a Barrier

If you have trouble using any page, please tell us at contact@new-hardware.com. Include the page address, a short description of the problem, and the device or assistive technology you were using if you can. We take these reports seriously and use them to improve the site.

You can also reach us through the Contact Us page. For more about the site, see About Us.
